Rotary Pump Combination
Intervac mechanical booster/roots vacuum pumps are either direct drive or hydrokinetic drive. Direct drive booster/roots pump is switched on by a pressure switch at some predetermined pressure. The switch on time of hydrokinetic drive booster pump & backing pump are just the same. It eliminates the need for values/pressure switch or By-pass lines. Hydrokinetic allows smaller motors to be used than with direct-coupled pumps. Two or more boosters can be used in series to attain good ultimate vacuum. From capacities 1600 LPM to 465000 LPM are available Intervac is the first to manufacture 3000 RPM Drive motor booster pumps in India. The range of typical application of mechanical boosters includes: Degassing plants, Vacuum metallizing plants, furnaces, wind tunnels, space simulators, impregnation plants, and drying, degassing process plants, vacuum stills packing equipment, pharmaceutical freeze drying, metallurgical analysis and evacuation of large vacuum chambers.
