Vacuum Booster
Intervac Mechanical Booster/Roots vacuum pumps are either direct drive or Hydrokinetic drive. Direct drive booster/rooter pumps is switched on by a pressure switch at some predetermined pressure.
The switch on time of hydrokinetic drive booster pump & backing pump are just the same. It eliminates the need for values/ Pressure switch or by-pass lines. Hydrokinetic allows smaller motors to be used than with direct-coupled pumps, two or more booster can be used in series to attain good ultimate vacuum.
For capacities 1600 LPM to 465000 LPM are available.
